3-way matching means every supplier payment is cross-checked against three documents: the Purchase Order (what you agreed to buy), the Goods Receipt Note (what was actually delivered to site), and the Supplier Invoice (what the vendor is billing). This prevents phantom billing and ensures you only pay for materials you've received.
Every Purchase Request (PR) and Work Order (WO) must be linked to a BOQ task line item. This means all spending is tracked against your original budget in real time. Over-budget or out-of-scope allocations require an explicit management override — preventing cost overruns from going unnoticed.
